Retief Goosen is a South African professional golfer who has accumulated over 40 championship titles in his professional career. His most famous professional achievements include two U.S. Open wins in 2001 and 2004, and heading the European Tour Order of Merit in 2001 and 2002.

Goosen began his 2010 season in January with three consecutive top 10 finishes. He finished 6th at the SBS Championship, 4th at the Sony Open in Hawaii and 9th at the Qatar Masters. In February, at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship, Goosen enjoyed his best finish in the event since 2006. Goosen finished 5th at the Transitions Championship and tied for 4th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Known for his extremely calm demeanor, Goosen has earned the nickname "The Iceman" on the PGA Tour. He is also affectionately called "The Goose”.
